SUPERVISORY BOARD AND ADVISORY BOARD QUESTIONS
Companies – including family-owned businesses – today often have a supervisory or advisory body that acts as an intermediary between management and the shareholders and provides external expertise. We advise companies and shareholders on the design and staffing of supervisory and advisory bodies, which can also play an important mediating role in the event of conflicts between shareholders.
In doing so, we ensure that both the interests of the owners are protected and the requirements (especially those of stock corporation law) are complied with. A special role is played by the chairman of this body, who acts as the contact person for the shareholders and for management. We also take on supervisory or advisory functions ourselves, especially if such a body is to be established.
